Glenn A. Gladney

President & CEO of AON with practical start-up experience as the Director of Engineering with YAFO Networks in the development of active optical dispersion compensation subsystems for SONET and DWDM systems. Leading a multiple discipline team of Optical, Mechanical, Electrical IC/RF/ASIC, and Project/Product managers and engineers in the development of 10 Gb/s and 40 Gb/s PMDC subsystems, for product specifications of 120 ps and 25 ps respectively. He has extensive experience working in the telecom networks industry while working for Lucent Technologies in Technical Management roles in Optical Networking developing 2.5 Gb/s and 10 Gb/s long haul network system transmission products, and Switching Systems developing Class 4 and 5 digital switches. He developed the AT&T 5ESS Switching System architecture and processor evolution for 300, 600, and 1M Peak Busy Hour Calls (PBHC). His list of technical innovations included N+K redundancy in digital switching systems with 99.999 reliability. He developed Lucent Technologies corporate Graphical User Interface (GUI) platform for all product groups and separately a Testing Center of Excellence providing leadership in methodology, processes, and technologies. Glenn’s extensive technical knowledge of network architectural designs, telecom switching/packet networks and business management has established him as a respected technology leader. He has a B.S. from Jackson State University and an M.S. in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan.
